About the Job
The Sales Executive (SE) position is responsible for all sales activities, from lead generation and follow up to project close and installation, in an assigned Vertical Market. The SE develops and implements an agreed upon Business Development Planwhich will meet both business and personal goals for expanding the customer base and increasing revenue in the assigned Vertical Market. The SE works to ensure appropriate levels of revenue generation, customer satisfaction, and long-term account goals in line with Company vision and values.

Develops annual Business Development Plan in conjunction with the VP of Marketing and Salesand the Director of Sales Management, which details activities to follow during the fiscal year, which will focus the SE on meeting or exceeding sales quota.
Complete understanding of pricing and proposal models.
Creates and conducts effective proposal presentations.

Demonstrates the ability to carry on a professional conversation with industryowners and decision makers.
Maximizes all opportunities in closing a projected sale resulting in the taking ofmarket share from competitors.
Develops a database of qualified leads through referrals, telephone canvassing, face-to-face cold calling on business owners, tradeshows, email, and networking.
Responsible for sourcing and developing client relationships and referrals. These include, but are not limited to, major Consultant/Design Houses, Systems Integrators, Installers and End Users.
